Now, few would ever bother accusing Microsoft of modesty. And there was certainly little of it from the Software Satan's gaming impresario J. Allard's recent keynote on the next generation XBOX. Leaving aside the standard ambit claims to being the future home entertainment hub, one interesting tidbit was the plans to provide an e-commerce platform for consumer generated game modifications. Entering your initials in the top score list is one thing, but selling your personalised armour to other players? Actually, its not so crazy an idea.

In case you missed it, Kijiji is 'Swahili' for village. As it turns out, it is also 'eBay' for cloning Craigslist. Only month's after acquiring a stake in the infamous online classifieds site, eBay has launched an international network of local community trading boards which replace their auction gavel with free listings.

Geeks blogging on Slashdot is one thing - but when Business Week, the bible of conservative CEO aspirants calls it a "New Radio Revolution", the broadcast luddites had better take notice.

In the good old days, it could take up to nine months for a blockbuster Hollywood movie release to finally screen in markets outside of the US. Once the Studios realised that cheap handycam dubs of their multi-million dollar films were being sold in Asian noodle markets hours after their release, they realised they had to simultaneously open in multiple markets.
